Chandamama Book Shelf Comics Series (1980s)

The publishers of Chandamama brought to Indian readers some of the very best of Disney's as Book shelf series which featured complete story lines from Disney's movies and stories in the early 1980s.

The first issue was The Jungle Book, which follows by a number of great titles.

Below is a list of some issues I have come across surfing through the net -

* Serials may be exchanged with each-other.

I have a reason to believe that these are the 12 issues which were published as Book Shelf Series, as after a long long search through my collection and the internet I haven't found any other title.

Anyone knows further details please share...

Dreamland Publications' books were not comics in any way but they were easily found in the comics shop who sold or rented the comics books for us in our childhood. So have a special place for them in my heart.

Last days got many of its issues from Ajay Misra Ji. Many thanks to him for his help in collecting old books and comics.

आप में से बहुतों को याद होगा कि बचपन के दिनों में बहुत ही कम कीमतों में बहुत ही मनोरंजक और उच्च स्तरीय पठन सामग्री और खूबसूरत चित्रों से सजी रूसी पुस्तकें पुस्तक मेलों में बहुतायत में आती थी.

पिछले दिनों पुरानी किताबें खरीदते वक्त बाल साहित्य की दो पुस्तकें संयोगवश हाथ में आई. जिसमे से एक को मैं यहाँ शेयर कर रहा हूँ. बेहद ही सरल कहानी को चित्रों के माध्यम से जीवंत बनाती ये किताब अपने बच्चों को पढ़ा कर देखिये और शानदार रुसी साहित्य का अनुभव आप स्वयं भी करें.
